ATLANTA - For the second consecutive year, Lipscomb’s Courtney Brenner has been voted the Most Outstanding Women’s Track Performer at the ASUN Indoor Championships. Brenner earned more points than any other female competitor at the meet, tallying up 20 points across two events. The senior defended her 2019 ASUN titles in both the 3000m and the 5000m. It was her third consecutive win in the 5000m. In the 3000m, Brenner broke the ASUN Championship record and the program indoor record with a time of 9:32.23. She followed up that performance with another win in the 5000m, taking first place with a time of 16:40.49. Brenner now has eight total ASUN All-Conference honors between indoor and outdoor, including seven conference titles, with the 2020 outdoor campaign still to come. Brenner and the rest of the Bisons will kick off outdoor season on March 20 at the Yellow Jacket/Emory Invitational in Atlanta. Read the full article at: www.lipscombsports.com
